The Department of Environment is organizing a Conference titled “Nature-based Solutions for coastal protection and coastal resilience”. The Conference is organised within the framework of the Pandoteira project.

Aim
The Conference aims to inform stakeholders, including representatives from policy makers, governmental departments, non-governmental organizations, coastal local authorities, researchers, and Pandoteira project partners, regarding the importance of evaluating and adopting soft coastal protection solutions, in the context of Nature-based Solutions.
The Conference will be held in English, with parallel translation (English to Greek and Greek to English).
This initiative has received the support from the Priority Actions Programme / Regional Activity Centre (PAP/RAC), which is one of the six Regional Activity Centres of the Mediterranean Action Plan (MAP), itself part of the United Nations Environment Programme (UN Environment).
